IBM's appointment of Sea Lion as a local business partner in Myanmar


Sea Lion Group’s CEO Win Zaw Aung commended the unmatched synergy between IBM and Sea Lion to move Myanmar toward the digital economy at IBM - Sea Lion press briefing at Rosewood Hotel Yangon to introduce IBM’s emerging technologies and solutions to Myanmar and to announce IBM’s appointment of Sea Lion as a local business partner in Myanmar. IBM’s Vice President for Indochina Expansion and Managing Director of IBM Thailand Ms. Patama Chantaruck delivered a keynote to the media and distinguished audience on “Bringing IBM World-class Innovation to Help Myanmar Digitally Transform”. 

As official local partner, Sea Lion will bring IBM’s enterprise solutions in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Analytics, Blockchain, Cloud Computing, Security, and next generation IT Infrastructure to Myanmar enterprises to help succeed and transform their businesses towards digital economy. 

While Myanmar has improved network infrastructure, the country still needs advanced IT infrastructure in terms of computing power and tailored solutions using AI and data analytics, blockchains and hybrid cloud technologies in order to develop an environment conducive to digital economy.
